Is it possible to burn eggs while hard-boiling them?  Hmm...yes.  See, at work we are having a 'contest' as teams to lose weight.  So several people at work have become 'food nazis' and if you're in the competition, you just really watch what you eat.  So, I wasn't sure what to make for lunch tomorrow's day...I'm a little over salad, so I thought I'd hard boil eggs for my chicken salad.  I put the eggs in a pot with water and put on the stove.  And I forgot about them.  I was cleaning up, watching Idol, hanging with Tux (pictured here) and playing on Facebook.  Later I hear some popping noises and smell smoke.  The eggs were popping because all the water had evaporated.  Watson's already in bed, and the fire alarm goes off.  Geez.

Tux is our cat.  And this picture makes him look really fat, but it is the angle I took the picture.  Right now, he is sitting on my lap keeping my legs warm while I watch the girls sing on American Idol.  I can't get our Rottweiler, Rocklyn to sit still long enough to get a good picture of her to post.  Maybe one day I will and then I can post one. 

Here's Heidi and the newest Graden, GUNNER!  He's a cutie and he's very shy.  Rocklyn is helping him with that and hopefully they can have more play dates together before the Gradens leave the Dirty South for ...?  (we won't know until Dave gets his new job placement in May)

And, by request of Mrs. Sarah Parks...(I'm pretty sure she is my only blog reader!) :)  Here is a quick picture of the new place.  Hopefully everything goes through quickly...we hope to close on St. Patrick's Day!

Wow.  This is just a wonderful picture.  We are pretending to be scared of heights.  Really, we both are...but Watson can be a little braver than me.  So, we've been married a month.  It is so much fun to come home to a husband...or sometimes come home first and welcome him home!  One of my favorite things is how much we can just enjoy each other and laugh hysterically at each other.  We're just big dorks.  It's great.

So...Christmas season is in full swing, and our lives are crazy.  Seriously, we usually have something to do every night and all weekend long.  I'm barely able to take off a day during the week (since I work 4 ten hour days) to get normal stuff done around the house.  Luckily, most of the Christmas shopping is done and wrapped.  This weekend will start all the 'Christmas Parties'.  It's hard to believe we are so close to the 25th!
